Monday 9/14/09 Spanish

Today in Spanish class:

We learned and practiced the Spanish alphabet.  Check it out here or on page 22 of your online textbook.
We did Activity 29 and 30 on p 23 in our notes.

Then, each student made up their own test of 10 questions.  The test had to include questions regarding days of the week, time, numbers, seasons, months, pronouns, and SER conjugations.  Once completed, the test was taken by another student at the table.  Then, the maker of the test graded the answers.  This was taken up for a class participation grade.

Toward the end of class, we held a competition to find the student who could accurately count from 1-30, state the alphabet, and conjugate SER; all on the first try.  The winner received a pad of paper and invaluable street cred.  Felicitaiones to John Byrne (1st period) , Josh Barnhouse (3rd period) and Jessica Askin (4th period):  WINNERS!

Remember, if you're curious about your grade or missing assignments, simply ask Ms.P once lecture time is over and the class has started on the assignment.

Just for fun:
