Lote training: how to work blogspot

LOTE training, students please disregard.

Getting Started:
1.  You must have a gmail account.  If you don't have one, or you forgot your password, get a new one HERE.
2.  Then go HERE.
3.  Sign in with your google info, then agree to terms of service and click continue.
4.  Name your blog:  I used "Class News From Ms. P".  Something general, this shows at the top of your page at all times.  You can add a more detailed subtitle to it (see mine above).
5.  Check domain name availability:  I used my last name, but yours could be anything (this is what kids will have to type in to get to your website, so the shorter the better.  Example: jahnke.blogspot.com)

To be able to post powerpoints:
Register at slideshare.net (just click here)
The "upload" button that you will be using most is kinda weirdly-placed: it's the fourth over from the logo.

Calendar, moving stuff around:

Look around my homepage and see what all you want on yours.  The calendar is accessed and synced from your google mail, not the blogger site.  The text blocks that are to the left of the posts (the ones that mention the syllabus quick link, online text links etc.) can be put on the right, on the top, below the calendar, etc. etc.  It's mostly an explore/fix/redo experience, but if you have specific questions let me know.

LOTE is the best!  woo!
