Activity 1 (30
minutes) : Individually, rank these careers from the most important to the
least important in your opinion. Who should earn the most money, in your
opinion? Who earns the most money in reality? Then present your ranking and
your reasons to the students at your table, discuss, and reach an agreement on
a common ranking. You may be asked to present your common ranking to the class.

Activity 2 (30
minutes): Who is the personality you admire the most? It can be a historical
figure, an actor or musician, a politician, a scientist, etc. At your table
find a person (or persons) who admires the same (or a similar) personality.
Then find a person (or persons) anywhere in the classroom who admires the same
(or similar) personality. The new groups will be asked to present your admired
personalities to the class, including your reasons, and your points of
agreement and disagreement.
